ZINC FERTILIZER SOLUTION (CONTAINING ZINC SULPHATE)

Plants generally take up zinc in the form of the divalent Zn²+ ion. Zinc regulates the emergence of oxygen radicals that can have a toxic effect. It is found in the structures of various enzymes and activates numerous enzymes. It plays a role in carbohydrate, protein, and auxin metabolism. In cases of zinc deficiency, the chlorophyll content in plants decreases dramatically. The most prominent manifestation of zinc deficiency in plants is stunted growth. While the veins in the leaves retain their green color, the interveinal areas turn light green, yellow, and even white. In zinc deficiency, roots tend to grow relatively larger, and root secretions increase.
